WavestoreUSA at ISC West.

The Sign of the Times.

Getting caught up in the buzz around Las Vegas earlier in April when throngs of security professionals converged on the Sands Expo Center for ISC West is a sure sign that the industry is alive and well. The large mix of professionals in Physical, Cyber and IT Security at ISC West represents a widening scope of people who are involved in security today. The traditional base of alarm dealers, once the majority of folks attending the ISCs, is broadening with a host of new entrants into the market are from all over the U.S., as evidenced by the visitors at the WavestoreUSA booth.

Fueled by network electronic technology and consumer demand, there is great interest in IP video management and scalable integration. Greeting guests at the WavestoreUSA booth, Vice President of Sales, Randy Miller and General Manager, Mihai Barbu, agree that the type of attendee they spoke to runs the gamut from commercial security dealers and commercial systems integrators to residential security dealers and residential systems integrators, as well as a host of IT integrators, engineers, consultants, end users, locksmiths and electrical contractors. The common thread among all these visitors, however, is their keen interest in the benefits offered from open platform digital solutions.

WavestoreUSA did not disappoint. At the show, live demos from the experienced WavestoreUSA staff showcase the debut of our Wavestore V6 enhanced VMS software release. The ever-popular, compact yet powerful, WavestoreUSA NS1 and NS2 entry level video management and storage servers were also a big hit.

Texas Disposal Systems checks out the NS1.

Representatives from law enforcement, educational institutions, casinos and other end users want to get familiar with the capabilities of our systems. Michael Allgeier, Technology and Security Director, and Jason McGalliard, Security Administrator, Texas Disposals Systems (TDS), is interested in our solution for the company’s landfill, recycling, composting facilities in and around Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos, TX.

The list could go on but what it all means is that the security industry is moving forward, finally, with a larger audience and the latest technology at the forefront.
